A natural sanctuary lies within this walled compound where live oaks and songbirds happily share the peaceful beauty with the people who will call Little Paradise their new home.
Electric gates swing open revealing a circular brick drive and paths that lead to the house, caretaker cottage/studio and standalone garage. Grounds stretch out in all directions – explore and you’ll find a deliciously private pool with spa and sun patio, a folly, enviable tree-house for the younger crowd and a lovely window-lined building with fireplace that has been studio, gym and party room. Wraparound porch embraces the main residence and it’s true that time really does slow down here. Diffused light streams into the living room where a fireplace waits patiently for cool evenings. Hidden door in the bookshelves opens to office/5th bedroom with private bath. Oyster shells adorn the dining room fireplace and kitchen fuses form with function beautifully. Take in the hand-built cabinetry, island, butler’s pantry and the stove and watch your culinary muse shine. Adjacent family room connects you to family and guests. Mud room is a storage lover’s dream and laundry room provides even more.
Upstairs two master en-suites offer spacious sleeping quarters plus a laundry room. West bedroom has reading alcove, custom closet and the best view of a magnificent oak from the tub.
